Aims & Scope

The journal publishes works in the following areas and scientific specialties:

Methods and algorithms of computational mathematics and their software implementations for solving scientific and technical problems.
Articles containing new results in the field of methods and algorithms of computational mathematics, mathematical modeling, computational experiments and parallel software implementation of computational problems are accepted for publication:
- creation of algorithms for numerical solution of problems typical for applications of mathematics to various fields of science and technology;
- peculiarities of numerical methods and related program complexes, reflecting the growth of performance of modern computing systems and contributing to increasing the efficiency of computations;
- creation and realization of new numerical methods for solving applied problems, arising in the mathematical modeling of natural and applied scientific and applied problems correspondence of the selected algorithms to the specifics of the problems under consideration;
- development of new mathematical methods for modeling objects and phenomena;
- development, justification and testing of effective computational methods with the use of modern computer technologies. application of modern computer technologies.
Accepted for publication are reviews in the thematic areas of the journal with emphasis on scientific and applied significance of computational methods and their program implementations. implementations.
Parallel software and technologies for solving problems of computational mathematics and its scientific and technical applications.
Articles related to numerical software targeted at supercomputers and parallel architecture computing systems.

Researches in the field of theory and technology of designing programs of computational mathematics and its scientific and technical applications, as well as their integration into software systems (development of taxonomy and classifications of problems and methods, disciplines and programming techniques, technological processes for compiling numerical programs for computers with parallel architecture, methods for conducting computational experiments, etc.).

Authors of publications voluntarily undertake to adhere to the following ethical standards:

The authors are responsible for the accuracy of the research results, the content of the article and for the very fact of its publication.
Authors should not submit to the journal materials for publications that are under consideration in another journal, as well as articles published in other journals. Authors should be aware that submitting the same article to different publications is a violation of publication ethics.
The authors guarantee that they submit to the editorial board of the journal original articles, previously unpublished anywhere, free from plagiarism and scientific falsifications. If the authors use their own previously published results as a basis for the presented article, then they are obliged to indicate references to these results and specify what new results were obtained in comparison with the previous ones.
Authors should refer to works that were important in the study, as well as acknowledge those who have made significant contributions to the work. Borrowed fragments or statements must be made with the obligatory indication of the author and the original source.
Authors should not divide a holistic research into several publications in order to increase their number. Significant in terms of volume of work can, in agreement with the editors, be published in several issues of the journal.
All co-authors of the manuscript warrant that they have made significant contributions to the research.
The authors provide in the article an exhaustive list of sources of financial support for the study and the role of these sources in the study.
Authors must adhere to the rules of paper design accepted in the journal.
Authors must explicitly agree with the rules for preparing articles for publication, including peer review, scientific and literary editing, and bringing articles to editorial standards accepted within the journal.
The authors must express their consent to the transfer to the journal of the right to publish and distribute the article in electronic and paper versions, including the placement of bibliographic information about the article in scientific citation bases, as well as the placement of the full text of the article in the Scientific Electronic Library (elibrary.ru) for free access to all Internet users, regardless of their category and location.
If the authors find any inaccuracies in an already published article, then they are obliged to inform the members of the editorial board of the journal and jointly participate in correcting the publication.
In case of violation of the rules of publication ethics by the editors, or if there are unresolved disagreements with the editors, the authors have the right to file a complaint with the Scientific Publications Ethics Council of the Association of Scientific Editors and Publishers (ASEP)

The editor-in-chief and the editorial board of the journal undertake to follow the generally accepted norms of publishing ethics in relation to the authors of articles sent for publication:

The decision to publish is made based on the results of assessing the reliability of the information presented in the article, scientific novelty, clarity of presentation, research and compliance of the work with the subject of the journal. Gender identification, race, citizenship, social status, political views and other attributes of the authors not related to scientific activity cannot serve as a reason for refusal to publish.
All articles submitted to the editorial board undergo single-blind peer review. Reviewers must be experts on the subject of the submitted research, they must guarantee an objective assessment of the articles according to the criteria set out in clause 1, in particular, the absence of a conflict of interest, and clearly formulate their conclusions on the submitted articles, including an assessment of the possibility of their publication and recommendations for revision.
The editorial board reserve the right to cancel the positive decision to publish the material in the event of serious violations of publication ethics that were missed at the stage of reviewing.
The editorial board of the journal ensures the confidentiality of any information about the submitted articles until the moment of their publication. The knowledge gained in the process of editing and reviewing cannot be used for the purpose of obtaining personal gain before the publication of the article.
The editorial board does not allow the publication of articles with signs of plagiarism. The presence of borrowing without reference to the source, unofficial citation and paraphrasing, assignment of rights to the results of other people's research are considered plagiarism and are sufficient grounds for rejection of the article.
The editorial board takes measures to identify and prevent the publication of articles reflecting research in the course of which there were violations of the law; including, for this purpose, information about such offenses received from external sources is carefully considered.
The editorial board of the journal has the right to withdraw an already published article and, if appropriate, return it to the authors for revision, if the publication of the article entailed a violation of someone's rights or generally accepted norms of scientific ethics.
The editors are ready to publish corrections, explanations, refutations and apologies related to previously published articles, including in case of receipt of relevant requests from the authors.
In case of revealing violations of publication ethics on the part of the authors, the editors ask the authors for clarifications; in case of an unsatisfactory answer, the editorial board has the right to contact the employer of the authors or the competent executive authorities.
The editorial board does not leave unanswered the authors' comments regarding both their published works and those accepted for publication.
The editorial board of the journal adheres to the established terms of publication if the authors fulfill the necessary requirements for articles.
The editor-in-chief may apply to the Association of Scientific Editors and Publishers (ASEP) to resolve ethical disputes between the editorial board and the authors of the articles.

Журнал публикует работы по следующим направлениям:

Методы и алгоритмы вычислительной математики и их программные реализации для решения научно-технических задач.
Для публикации принимаются статьи, содержащие новые результаты в области методов и алгоритмов вычислительной математики, математического моделирования, вычислительных экспериментов и параллельной программной реализации вычислительных задач:
- создание алгоритмов численного решения задач, типичных для приложений математики к различным областям науки и техники;
- особенности численных методов и связанных с ними программных комплексов, отражающие рост производительности современных вычислительных систем и способствующие повышению эффективности вычислений;
- создание и реализация новых численных методов для решения прикладных задач, возникающих при математическом моделировании естественнонаучных и прикладных проблем, соответствие выбранных алгоритмов специфике рассматриваемых задач;
- разработка новых математических методов моделирования объектов и явлений;
- разработка, обоснование и тестирование эффективных вычислительных методов с применением современных компьютерных технологий.
Принимаются для публикации обзоры по тематическим направлениям журнала с акцентом на научную и прикладную значимость вычислительных методов и их программных реализаций.
Параллельные программные средства и технологии для решения задач вычислительной математики и ее научно-технических приложений.
Статьи, относящиеся к численному программному обеспечению, ориентированному на суперкомпьютеры и вычислительные системы с параллельной архитектурой.

Публикуются исследования в области теории и технологии конструирования программ вычислительной математики и ее научно-технических приложений, а также их объединений в программные комплексы (разработка систематик и классификаций задач и методов, дисциплин и методик программирования, технологических процессов составления численных программ для ЭВМ с параллельной архитектурой, методик проведения вычислительных экспериментов и т.п.).

Принимаются к публикации результаты исследований по разработке инструментальных средств автоматизации процессов конструирования, эксплуатации и сопровождения численных программ и программных комплексов для ЭВМ различной архитектуры (разработка проблемно-ориентированных языков, средств дистанционного доступа и организации интерактивных режимов, визуализации данных, преобразований численных программ и отображения вычислительных алгоритмов на архитектуры ЭВМ, средств верификации и макрогенерации программ, макрорасширения алгоритмических языков, препроцессоры и макропроцессоры и др.).

Принимаются к публикации статьи на русском или английском языках.

Публикационная этика

Журнал «Вычислительные методы и программирование» строго придерживается международных стандартов публикационной этики, сформулированных Комитетом по публикационной этике (COPE: Committee on Publication Ethics, http://publicationethics.org).

Авторы публикаций добровольно принимают обязанность следовать следующим этическим нормам:

Авторы несут ответственность за достоверность результатов исследований, содержание статьи и за сам факт ее публикации.
Авторы не должны предоставлять в журнал материалы для публикаций, которые находятся на рассмотрении в другом журнале, а также статьи, опубликованные в других журналах. Авторы должны осознавать, что представление одной и той же статьи в различные издания является нарушением публикационной этики.
Авторы гарантируют, что они представляют в редакцию журнала оригинальные статьи, ранее нигде не опубликованные, свободные от плагиата и научных фальсификаций. Если авторы используют свои собственные ранее опубликованные результаты как основу для представленной статьи, то они обязаны указывать ссылки на эти результаты и оговаривать, какие новые результаты получены по сравнению с предыдущими.

Авторы должны придерживаться принятых в журнале правил оформления работ.
Авторы должны явно выразить свое согласие с правилами подготовки статей к публикации, включая рецензирование, научное и литературное редактирование и доведение статей до редакторских стандартов, принятых в рамках журнала.
Авторы должны выразить свое согласие с передачей журналу права на издание и распространение статьи в электронной и бумажной версиях, в том числе на размещение библиографической информации о статье в базах научного цитирования, а также на размещение полного текста статьи в Научной электронной библиотеке (elibrary.ru) для свободного доступа всем пользователям Интернет независимо от их категории и местоположения.

Главный редактор и редакция журнала обязуются следовать общепринятым нормам издательской этики в отношении авторов присылаемых для публикации материалов:

Решение о публикации принимается по результатам оценки достоверности представленной в статье информации, научной новизны, ясности изложения, исследований и соответствия работы тематике журнала. Гендерная идентификация, расовая принадлежность, гражданство, социальное положение, политические взгляды и прочие не имеющие отношения к научной деятельности атрибуты авторов не могут служить причиной отказа в публикации.
Все поступающие в редакцию материалы проходят одностороннее слепое рецензирование. Рецензенты должны быть экспертами по тематике представленного исследования, они должны гарантировать объективную оценку статей согласно критериям, изложенным в п.1, в частности, отсутствие конфликта интересов, и ясно формулировать свои заключения о поступивших материалах, включая оценку возможности их публикации и рекомендации к доработке.
Редакция оставляет за собой право отменить положительное решение о публикации материала в случае обнаружения серьёзных нарушений публикационной этики, пропущенных на этапе рецензирования.
Редакция журнала обеспечивает конфиденциальность любой информации о представленных статьях до момента их публикации. Полученные в процессе редактирования и рецензирования знания не могут быть использованы с целью получения личной выгоды до публикации статьи.
Редакция не допускает публикации статьей, имеющих признаки плагиата. Наличие заимствования без ссылки на источник, неоформленное цитирование и перефразирование, присвоение прав на результаты чужих исследований рассматриваются как плагиат и являются достаточным основанием для отклонения статьи.
Редакция принимает меры для выявления и предотвращения публикации статей, отражающих исследования, в ходе которых имели место нарушения законодательства; в том числе, с этой целью внимательно рассматривается информация о подобных правонарушениях, поступающая от внешних источников.
Редакция журнала вправе изъять уже опубликованную статью и, ппри целесообразности, вернуть её авторам на доработку, если публикация статьи повлекла нарушение чьих-либо прав или общепринятых норм научной этики.
Редакция готова публиковать исправления, пояснения, опровержения и извинения, связанные с ранее вышедшими материалами, в том числе, в случае поступления соответствующих запросов от авторов.
В случае выявления нарушений публикационной этики со стороны авторов, редакция обращается к авторам за разъяснениями; в случае неудовлетворительного ответа, редакция вправе обратиться к работодателю авторов или в компетентные органы исполнительной власти.
Редакция не оставляет без ответа замечания авторов относительно как своих опубликованных, так и принятых к публикации работ.

Мы просим каждого автора предоставить НИВЦ МГУ эту исключительную лицензию после прохождения статьей этапа рецензирования и принятия решения о публикации статьи в нашем журнале.

Таким образом НИВЦ МГУ соглашается опубликовать статью и имеет право:

In cooperation with authors, the editorial board follows the fundamental rules of publication ethics in accordance with the COPE Code (Committee on Publication Ethics).

The journal welcomes the publication of articles containing discussion with previously published materials in the journal.

The journal considers articles containing both positive and negative results for publication.

RECOMMENDATIONS ON THE CONTENT AND STRUCTURE OF THE ARTICLES

Publication forms

The editorial board of the journal accepts for consideration the author's materials, drawn up in the form of a review or an original article.

Reviews can cover any modern achievements related to the subject of the journal. Reviews should be written in such a way as to assist the reader in assessing emerging prospects and opportunities, as well as in finding publications containing key information about new developments. In the introductory part of the review, it is desirable to provide an explanation of the main tasks, concepts and terms. The reader of the review article should understand the need for an in-depth study of the problem using the bibliographic references provided for the article, so the review should not look like a listing of innovations and references to sources.

Original articles must correspond to the subject of the journal. The novelty and scientific significance of the work are checked by reviewers and the editor-in-chief. The information in the original article must be complete, allowing a specialist in this field to reproduce the results obtained by the authors. It is not recommended to present generally known information in the original articles. When submitting manuscripts, the authors are fully responsible for the fact that the presented research results are performed personally, comply with the norms of scientific ethics and are carried out on an open topic.

Volumes of published materials

Review articles can be up to 30 pages per issue. The publication of reviews in several issues takes place in agreement with the editor-in-chief. Authors of original articles are recommended to be from 9 up to 15 pages long.

Article title

Authors should give the article the most specific and informative title, if possible, not exceeding 20 words.

Annotations

Review and original articles should be accompanied by annotations giving an idea of the essence and novelty of the published results. The abstract should be understandable before reading the article and should not contain links to any publications. The volume of the annotation should not exceed 10-15 lines. It is not recommended to break annotations into paragraphs.

UDC codes

The authors of the article indicate the UDC (for articles in Russian), which the publication corresponds to.

Keywords

Authors should indicate the set of keywords that best characterize the published research results. Keywords are used to automatically search for an article, for example in an electronic library. We recommend that authors choose no more than 10 keywords or phrases for their article.

Structure of Articles

Depending on the volume, the main text of the article can be structured into sections and paragraphs, like this article, or only into paragraphs. It is not recommended to give titles to sections and paragraphs that span more than two lines. A section should not consist of one paragraph.

Paragraphs can be two or more paragraphs. It is recommended for better perception to break the text into paragraphs no more than 10-15 lines in size.

Acknowledgments

In the last paragraph before the list of references, the authors have the right to express gratitude to those who provided substantial assistance in the work, or to indicate sponsorship and grants.

Bibliography

The list of references is an integral part of the article and is drawn up directly in the text of the article with the indication doi, if the publication is assigned a digital identifier. The list of references is formed in the order of reference to the sources in the text of the article.

A mandatory requirement is a complete translation of the bibliography into English for indexing an article in foreign databases.

The use of separate files with the bib, bbl and others extensions is not allowed.

English translation

Authors of articles published in the journal in Russian must provide translated into English:

surname, name, patronymic, academic degree, academic title of each author;
the name, postal addresses of the organizations that are the main places of work of the authors, and their positions in these organizations;
article title;
annotation text;
keywords;
captions to figures, tables, listings of programs and algorithms, as well as all text information contained in figures in tables, etc.

Russian translation

Authors of articles published in the journal in English must provide translated into Russian:

surname, name, patronymic, academic degree, academic title of each author;
the name, postal addresses of the organizations that are the main places of work of the authors, and their positions in these organizations;
article title;
annotation text;
keywords;
acknowledgments.

If the translation into Russian of this information by the author is difficult, the editors should be notified of that situation so that this work can be done by them.

REQUIREMENTS FOR DESIGN OF ARTICLES

⚠️ We recommend you to familiarize yourself with the requirements for the design of articles through set out in the archive authorsGuidelinesEn_2024.zip, which contains guidelines for the design of articles in the form of a tex-file (as a sample of the design of an article for the journal) and the style sty-file of the journal (last edition from Sep. 25, 2024). It is recommended to always download the current version of our sample to prepare your article for publication in the journal (even if you have previously published based on it in the past), as the rules and styles may be supplemented.

Preparation of the article

The editors accept articles from authors prepared in the LaTeX publishing system.

Authors of articles can use additional style files, for example algorithmx for a set of algorithms, etc. Additional style files must be explicitly included in the document preamble. Using your own styles is not recommended.

Articles prepared using Microsoft Word or other editors are accepted only in exceptional cases by the decision of the editors and will be published with a delay due to the translation of the original text into the LaTeX publishing system and additional editorial revisions.

Typing requirements

The editors recommend following the typing rules set out in the Russian-language literature on the LaTeX system.

We draw the attention of the authors to the following typing rules.

There should always be a space between the initials and the surname (A.A.Ivanov). In the title of the article, spaces are also placed between the initials: A. A. Ivanov.

The integer part of the number should be separated from the fractional part in the same way in the text of the article: either a comma or a period. On graphs and diagrams formed as a result of the work of programs, and in program listings, the integer part of the number from the fractional part can be separated by a dot.

The quotation marks should be in the form of "legs"; the use of "herringbones" is not allowed.

Dates must be typed in the format dd.mm.yyyy.

The period is not put after the section headings, table titles and figure captions, after a number of abbreviated names: s - second, g - gram, min - minute, d - day, mil - million, bil - billion, etc.

The period is placed at the end of the last sentence of the annotation, after the abbreviations: mon. - month, etc.

Multi-word abbreviations are separated by spaces, for example 760 mmHg. Art., with the exception of commonly used ones (i.e.).

References to figures and tables are separated by non-breaking spaces from the number (correct: Fig. 1, Table 2, incorrect: Fig.1, Tab.2).

Quotes and brackets are not separated by spaces from the words enclosed in them: (for U_max), (a); and not ( at U_max ), ( a ).

A non-breaking space is placed between the number or paragraph sign and the number: No. § 5.65.

Requirements for a set of formulas, theorems, etc.

Needs to be typed in straight type: a) all numbers are typed in straight type in formulas; b) all Roman script chars, including indices (for example, E_min); c) abbreviations of mathematical functions: sin, cos, lim, max.

For typing excluded formulas, it is recommended to use the equation environment with automatic continuous numbering. To suppress numbering, use the equation * environment.

The style file provides for the placement of summation indices, integration limits, etc. strictly above or below mathematical symbols (see PDF sample on page 7) .

Formulas that span one or more lines (so-called exclusion formulas) and are part of a sentence must obey the rules of punctuation (see PDF sample on page 7) .

The words "Theorem", "Collorary", "Lemma", "Asserrtion", "Proposition" are placed in the text of the article explicitly and are highlighted in bold, and the corresponding formulations are in italics.

The words "Proof", "Definition", "Remark" are in roman italic style, and the corresponding wording is in roman type.

It is recommended to carry out continuous numbering with Arabic numerals for theorems, definitions, etc.

Requirements for a set of program listings

It is allowed to reproduce small in volume (no more than 1 page is recommended) fragments of programs illustrating important algorithms, programming language tools, etc.

Text messages and comments in listings must be in English.

Examples of designing listings of programs and algorithms are given in Appendix 1 in PDF-sample (p. 11).

Requirements for illustrations

The editors make minimal edits to the illustrations. In case of insufficient quality illustrations, the article is sent to the authors for revision.
The following dimensions of illustrations are recommended: a) no more than 165 mm wide and no more than 210 mm high (in the width of a text column); b) no more than 80 mm wide and no more than 140 mm high (half the column width); c) 145 mm high and 240 mm wide (illustration expanded 90° on the whole page).
Three types of illustrations are accepted: line drawings (graphs, diagrams, graphs, etc.), screenshots of the computer screen (for example, color visualization of the field obtained as a result of mathematical modeling) and photographs.
Line drawings is accepted in the form of PNG (raster) files with a resolution of 600 DPI at a 1:1 scale of the figure or in EPS format (vector images). The thickness of the thinnest line in the picture should not be less than 5px. It is recommended to use black for the main lines. Elements of the picture that are important for understanding should be highlighted in two or three colors, which are contrastingly reproduced in black and white printing. Recommended background color is white.
Photos are accepted in formats JPEG, PNG, TIFF with a resolution of 300 DPI. The image in the photo should be sharp, contrasting. Digital image processing should not raise doubts about the authenticity of the photograph.
The series of illustrations is intended for comparing graphs, assessing the influence of parameters, explaining trends, dynamics, etc. Illustrations included in the series must be of the same size and resolution. Each illustration in the series must be designated with a letter of the English alphabet. Examples of illustrations design are given in Appendix 2 in PDF-sample (p. 14).
The editors draw your attention to the fact that the preliminary layout made by the authors often leads to a deterioration in the quality of the pictures, for example, due to the incorrectly set resolution when converting a picture to EPS format. The editors ask to provide, along with EPS files, the original “raw” files in the formats TIFF, PNG, JPEG without processing. If the picture is a screenshot from the computer screen, then it must be taken at the maximum window size and no longer scaled. Authors can make a copy of the figure in the format and sizes they need and insert it into the text of the article.

Requirements for the design of tables

The editors recommend formatting tabular data using the LaTeX publishing system (see Appendix 3 in PDF-sample). Text in table cells must be in English. Highlighting table cells with color unnecessarily is not encouraged.

The exception is tables obtained from the Internet or automated data processing systems in the form of screenshots.

Requirements for captions of figures and titles of tables and listings

Figures, tables, formulas, program listings, etc. must have consecutive numbering for each type of structural elements of the article. Examples of registration of captions for figures, tables and listings are given in (Appendices 1-3 in PDF-sample).
Signatures should be informative and concise. It is recommended that signatures be worded so that they do not span more than three lines.
The caption to a series of illustrations must contain a common name for all figures in the series and a list of captions specifying each illustration (Appendix 2, Fig. 2 in PDF-sample).

Requirements for References

The list of references is formed in the order of reference to the sources in the text of the article.
Articles published in Internet publications must be provided with an up-to-date link.
The preferable version of the link is to indicate the doi of the publication.

An example of the References format is given in Appendix 4 in PDF-sample (p. 17).

References to figures, formulas, tables, sources

The editors do not recommend using manually typed links in the text of the article. To reduce the likelihood of errors in links in the text of the article, it is necessary to use the commands \label, which automatically stores the values of counters for figures, tables, lists in a symbolic variable, and \ref which creates a link by the name of the variable.

INTERACTION WITH THE EDITORS

Required documents

To publish an article, authors must provide:

a cover letter from the authors (Appendix 5 in PDF-sample) in electronic form (may be in .doc or pdf formats) and its scanned version with "live" signatures;
an electronic LaTeX-version of the article (in Russian and / or English), prepared in accordance with the requirements for the formatting of articles, as well as a pdf-file of the article and figures;
a text file containing the following information in Russian and English: a) surname, name, patronymic, academic degree, academic title, ORCID and e-mail of each of the authors; b) the names and postal addresses of organizations that are the main places of work of the authors and their positions in these organizations; c) the title of the article; d) annotation text; e) keywords.

Transfer of documents to the editorial office

The author interacts with the editors mainly through the journal's website https://en.num-meth.ru. After completing the registration form, the author (one of the authors) have to:

download through the form all the prepared necessary documents and article components in the form of a ZIP-archive, choosing when downloading the Article Component = “ZIP-archive with source texts (.tex and required additional files)”;
give a description of the archive, authorship, etc. (it is recommended to do it at the stage of checking the details of the sent file);
confirm sending the archive;
enter article metadata (title, abstract and keywords required) and information about the author and all co-authors (all information must be entered in Russian and / or in English);
confirm the entered data.

The author receives e-mail notifications for all significant events accompanying the process of preparing an article for publication. The author should monitor the change in the status of the article and, if necessary, respond to the editorial board's invitations to enter into a dialogue on the pages with the discussion of the material (for example, when communicating with a literary editor).

Publication decision, peer review procedure

The editors consider articles only relevant to the subject of the journal. If the article is rejected, the editorial board notifies the author of the decision and does not enter into a discussion with the author of the correspondence of his article to the subject of the journal. The author has the right to publish his work in another edition.

An article accepted by the editorial board for review after preliminary selection undergoes a single-blind peer review procedure approved by the journal.

The author receives a review of his article and a notification from the editor-in-chief about the acceptance of the article for publication, about the need for revision or rejection of the article, indicating the reasons.

Preparing an article for publication

The article accepted for publication goes through the stages of literary and technical editing. Depending on the quality of the materials presented, the author will be in more or less intensive correspondence with the editors. Authors are encouraged to respond to letters from editors within one to two days so that the publication takes place in the intended issue of the journal.

Publishing an article

Articles from the typeset issue of the magazine are posted on the website, the issue is sent to print. The author is notified of the publication.

Авторы статей могут использовать дополнительные стилевые файлы, например с целью оформления алгоритмов и т.п. Дополнительные стилевые файлы должны явно подключаться в преамбуле документа. Использование стилей собственной разработки не рекомендуется.

Статьи, оформленные с помощью Microsoft Word или других редакторов, принимаются только в исключительных случаях по решению редакции и будут опубликованы с задержкой, обусловленной трансляцией исходного текста в издательскую систему LaTeX и дополнительной редакторской правкой.

Требования к набору текста

Редакция рекомендует следовать правилам набора текста, изложенным в русскоязычной литературе, посвященной системе LaTeX.

Обращаем внимание авторов на перечисленные ниже правила набора текста.

Между инициалами и фамилией всегда должен ставится пробел (А. А. Иванов). В заголовке статьи пробелы также ставятся между инициалами: А. А. Иванов.
Целая часть числа должна отделяться от дробной одинаково по тексту статьи: либо запятой, либо точкой. На графиках и диаграммах, сформированных в результате работы программ, и в листингах программ целую часть числа от дробной допускается отделять точкой.
Кавычки должны быть в виде "лапок"; использование «елочек» не допускается.
Даты должны быть набраны в формате дд.мм.гггг.
Точка не ставится после заголовков разделов, названий таблиц и подписей рисунков, после ряда сокращенных наименований: с — секунда, г — грамм, мин — минута, сут — сутки, млн — миллион, млрд — миллиард и т.п.
Точка ставится в конце последнего предложения аннотации, после сокращений: мес. — месяц, г. — год и др.
Сокращения из нескольких слов разделяются пробелами, например 760 мм рт. ст., за исключением общеупотребительных (и т.д.; и т.п.; т.е.).
Ссылки на рисунки и таблицы отделяются неразрывными пробелами от номера (правильно: рис. 1, табл. 2, неправильно: рис.1, табл.2).
Кавычки и скобки не отделяются пробелами от заключенных в них слов: (при U_max), (а); а не ( при U_max ), ( а ).
Между знаком номера или параграфа и числом ставится неразрывный пробел: № § 5.65.

Требования к набору формул, теорем и т.п.

Прямым шрифтом в формулах набираются а) все цифры; б) все русские буквы, в том числе в индексах (например E_связи); в) сокращения математических функций: sin, cos, lim, max.
Для набора выключных формул рекомендуется использовать окружение equation с автоматической сквозной нумерацией. Для подавления нумерации используйте окружение equation*.
В стилевом файле предусмотрено размещение индексов суммирования, пределов интегрирования и т.д. строго выше или ниже математических символов (см. в PDF-образце на стр. 8).
Формулы, занимающие одну или несколько строк (т.н. выключные формулы) и являющиеся частью предложения, должны подчиняться правилам пунктуации (см. в PDF-образце на стр. 8).
Слова "Теорема", "Следствие", "Лемма", "Утверждение", "Предложение" помещаются в текст статьи явно и выделяются прямым полужирным шрифтом, а соответствующие формулировки выделяются курсивом.
Слова "Доказательство", "Определение", "Примечание", "Замечание" выделяются прямым полужирным шрифтом, а соответствующие формулировки печатаются прямым шрифтом.
Рекомендуется выполнять сквозную нумерацию арабскими цифрами для теорем, определений и т.д.

Требования к набору листингов программ и алгоритмов

Допускается воспроизводить небольшие по объему (рекомендуется не более 1 страницы) фрагменты программ, иллюстрирующие важные для понимания статьи алгоритмы, средства языков программирования и т.п.

Если статья подается на русском языке, то название листинга должно быть переведено на английский.

Примеры оформления листингов программ и алгоритмов приведены в Приложении 1 в PDF-образце (стр. 12).

Требования к иллюстрациям

Редакция выполняет минимальную правку иллюстраций. В случае недостаточно качественных иллюстраций статья отправляется авторам на доработку.
Рекомендуются следующие размеры иллюстраций: а) шириной не более 165 мм и высотой не более 210 мм (в ширину колонки текста); б) шириной не более 80 мм и высотой не более 140 мм (в половину ширины колонки); в) высотой 145 мм и шириной 240 мм (иллюстрация, развернутая на 90° на всю страницу).
Принимаются иллюстрации трех видов: штриховые рисунки (графики, диаграммы, графы и пр.), скриншоты экрана компьютера (например, цветовая визуализация поля, полученная в результате математического моделирования) и фотографии.
Штриховые рисунки принимаются в виде файлов формата PNG (растр) разрешением 600 DPI при масштабе рисунка 1:1 или в формате EPS (векторные рисунки). Толщина самой тонкой линии на рисунке не должна быть меньше 5px. Рекомендуется для основных линий использовать черный цвет. Важные для понимания элементы рисунка должны выделяться двумя-тремя цветами, которые контрастно воспроизводятся при черно-белой печати. Цвет фона рекомендуется белый.
Фотографии принимаются в форматах JPEG, PNG, TIFF разрешением 300 DPI. Изображение на фотографии должно быть резким, контрастным. Цифровая обработка изображения не должна вызывать сомнений в достоверности фотографии.
Серия иллюстраций предназначается для сравнения графиков, оценки влияния параметров, объяснения трендов, динамики и т.п. Рисунки, входящие в серию, должны быть одинакового размера и разрешения. Каждая иллюстрация серии должна быть обозначена буквой английского алфавита. Примеры оформления рисунков приведены в Приложении 2 в PDF-образце (стр. 15).
Редакция обращает внимание на то, что предварительная верстка, выполненная авторами, нередко приводит к ухудшению качества рисунков, например за счет неправильно установленного разрешения при конвертировании рисунка в формат EPS. Редакция просит предоставлять наряду с файлами EPS исходные “сырые” файлы в форматах TIFF, PNG, JPEG без обработки. Если рисунок является скриншотом с экрана компьютера, то его необходимо сделать при максимальном размере окна и более не масштабировать. Авторы могут сделать копию рисунка в нужном для себя формате и размерах и вставить ее в текст статьи.
Редакция журнала не требует от авторов заниматься такими техническими вопросами, как обтекание рисунков текстом и размещением их на странице. Окончательная верстка осуществляется техническими редакторами журнала.

Требования к оформлению таблиц

Редакция рекомендует оформлять табличные данные средствами издательской системы LaTeX (см. Приложении 3 в PDF-образце). Не приветствуется выделение ячеек таблицы цветом без необходимости. Исключение составляют таблицы, полученные из интернета или автоматизированных систем обработки данных в виде скриншотов.

Для небольших таблиц рекомендуется использовать окружение tabularx. Для верстки сложных или больших таблиц могут потребоваться дополнительные стилевые файлы.

Требования к подписям рисунков и заголовков таблиц и листингов

Рисунки, таблицы, формулы, листинги программ и т.п. должны иметь сквозную нумерацию для каждой разновидности структурных элементов статьи.
Подписи должны быть информативными и краткими. Рекомендуется подписи формулировать так, чтобы они не занимали более трех строк.
Подпись к серии иллюстраций должна содержать общее название для всех рисунков серии и перечисление подписей, конкретизирующих каждую иллюстрацию (рис. 1).
Если статья подается на русском языке, то подписи к рисункам и слова, присутствующие на нем (если имеются, в т.ч. и единицы измерения на графиках), должны быть переведены на английский язык. Это же касается и подписей к таблицам и содержания их ячеек. Рекомендуется перевод делать новой строкой под текстом на русском. Иногда допускается разделять русский текст и его перевод слешем (например единицы измерения на графиках).

Требования к оформлению списка литературы и References

Список литературы формируется в порядке обращения к источникам в тексте статьи.
Статьи, опубликованные в интернет-изданиях, должны быть снабжены актуальной ссылкой.
Предпочтительным вариантом оформления ссылки является указание doi публикации.
Обязательным требованием является полный перевод библиографии на английский язык (References).

Примеры оформления списка литературы и References приведены в Приложениях 4, 5 в PDF-образце (стр. 18-19).

Ссылки на рисунки, формулы, таблицы, источники

Редакция не рекомендует использовать в тексте статьи ссылки, набранные вручную. Для уменьшения вероятности ошибок в ссылках по тексту статьи необходимо пользоваться командами \label, автоматически сохраняющей значения счетчиков для рисунков, таблиц, списков в символической переменной, и \ref, которая создает ссылку по имени переменной.

ВЗАИМОДЕЙСТВИЕ С РЕДАКЦИЕЙ

Необходимые документы

Для публикации статьи авторы должны предоставить:

сопроводительное письмо авторов (Приложение 6 в PDF-образце) в электронном виде (пригодном для копирования информации) и его отсканированный вариант с "живыми" подписями;
электронную LaTeX–версию статьи (на русском или/и английском языках), подготовленную в соответствии с требованиями к оформлению статей, а также pdf–файл статьи и рисунки;
скан экспертного заключения от организации автора (пример текста) с "живыми" подписями.

Передача документов в редакцию

Автор взаимодействует с редакцией в основном через сайт журнала https://num-meth.ru. После заполнения регистрационной формы автор (один из авторов) должен:

загрузить через форму все подготовленные необходимые документы и компоненты статьи в виде ZIP–архива, выбрав при загрузке Компонент статьи = “ZIP-архив с исходными текстами (.tex и требуемые дополнительные файлы)”;
дать описание архива, авторство и т.п. (рекомендуется сделать на этапе проверки деталей отправляемого файла);
подтвердить отправку архива;
загрузить через форму pdf–файл статьи (предварительно выбрав язык загружаемого файла);
подтвердить отправку pdf–файла статьи;
ввести метаданные статьи (обязательно заголовок, аннотацию и ключевые слова) и информацию об авторе и всех соавторах (ФИО, контактные данные, аффилиации, ORCID), при этом вся информация должна заноситься на русском и дублироваться английском языке - обратите внимание на подсказки на каком языке заполняются поля;
подтвердить внесенные данные на каждой из вкладок метаданных.

Автор получает уведомления на электронную почту при всех значимых событиях, сопровождающих процесс подготовки статьи к публикации. Автор должен следить за изменением статуса статьи и при необходимости реагировать на приглашения редакции вступить в диалог на страницах с обсуждением материала (например, при общении с литературным редактором).

Решение о публикации, процедура рецензирования

Редакция рассматривает статьи только соответствующие тематике журнала. В случае отклонения статьи редколлегия уведомляет автора о решении и не вступает с автором в обсуждение соответствия его статьи тематике журнала. Автор имеет право опубликовать свою работу в другом издании.
Статья, принятая редколлегией для рассмотрения после предварительного отбора, проходит утвержденную в журнале процедуру одностороннего слепого рецензирования (single-blind peer review).
Автор получает рецензию на свою статью и уведомление от главного редактора о приеме статьи к публикации, о необходимости доработки или об отклонении статьи с указанием причин.

Подготовка статьи к публикации

Принятая к публикации статья проходит этапы литературного и технического редактирования. В зависимости от качества представленных материалов автор будет состоять в более или менее интенсивной переписке с редакторами. Рекомендуем авторам отвечать на письма редакторов в течение одного-двух дней, чтобы публикация прошла в намеченном выпуске журнала.

Публикация статьи

Статьи из сверстанного выпуска журнала размещаются на сайте, выпуск передается в печать. Автор получает уведомление о публикации.

“Numerical Methods and Programming” is a peer-reviewed scientific research journal, which was founded and is published by the Research Computing Center of Lomonosov Moscow State University (RCC MSU). The journal publishes the results of new scientific, practical and theoretical studies obtained in the field of computational mathematics, mathematical modeling, software for computing machines, complexes and networks, as well as their applications.

The editorial board of the journal accepts for consideration author's materials of high quality, prepared in the form of an original article or review. The novelty and scientific significance of the work are verified by reviewers and editors. The journal is published with a periodicity of 4 issues per year. Publication of articles is free of charge. The published papers are publicly available to all Internet users.

The journal “Numerical Methods and Programming” is registered as a scientific electronic periodical by the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Thechnology, and Mass Media (certificate of registration No. 77-4356, ISSN 1726-3522).

The journal is included in the RSCI bibliographic database (Russian Science Citation Index), in “The White List” of the Russian Center of Scientific Information, in the core of the Russian Science Citation Index and in All-Russian Mathematical Portal MathNet.Ru. The journal belongs to category K1 of the Higher Attestation Commission List (Russian Federation) of leading peer-reviewed scientific journals and publications recommended for the publication of the main results of dissertations for the degree of doctor of science and PhD.

Bibliographic information on published papers is placed in the scientific citation database of the RSCI.

Articles published in the journal are assigned doi (since 2015).

“Вычислительные методы и программирование” (“Numerical Methods and Programming”) – научно-исследовательский рецензируемый журнал, учредителем и издателем которого является Научно-исследовательский вычислительный центр Московского государственного университета им. Reviews should contain an overall assessment of the quality of the work and the possibility of its publication in the journal, a specific listing of errors and shortcomings (if any), as well as proposals for improving the text.

The comments entered are passed on to the authors without changes, so it is necessary to observe the correct style of their presentation.

Editor-only comments are not shared with article authors.

First of all, the reviewer needs to assess whether this article corresponds to the subject of the journal. In case of inconsistency, the article is rejected.

Next, you need to evaluate the submitted work in accordance with the following criteria:

- The concreteness and information content of the title of the article, its correspondence to the content of the text

- Content and completeness of annotation

- Adequacy of the choice of keywords

- Relevance of the selected topic

- Formulation of the research goal and clarity of its presentation

- Having a review of related studies

- Scientific / practical value of the research

- Scientific novelty of the material, the originality of the presented material (does the text contain links to the cited authors and publications, as well as the results and facts used in the article obtained by other authors or organizations; does the text contain hidden borrowings)

- The quality of the presentation of the material: is it sufficiently complete and clear, how well reasoned it is, whether there are logical, factual or technical errors, the correct use of terms, etc.

- Visibility of the data presented in the article, assessment of the relevance of tables / figures, compliance of tables / figures with accepted standards, the adequacy of captions to tables / figures, the presence of references to them in the text

- Reasonableness of conclusions, correspondence of the results obtained to the objectives of the study, the presence of an assessment of the results

- Completeness of the list of references, the presence of references to it in the text

Рецензии должны содержать общую оценку качества работы и возможности её публикации в журнале, конкретное перечисление ошибок и недочётов (если они имеют место), а также предложения по доработке текста.

Введённые замечания передаются авторам без изменений, поэтому необходимо соблюдать корректный стиль их изложения.

Комментарии "Только для редактора" не передаются авторам статьи.

В первую очередь рецензенту необходимо оценить, соответствует ли данная статья тематике журнала. В случае несоответствия статья отклоняется.
